Turn off the device
Locate the SIM tray or SIM slot
Insert the SIM eject tool or a small pin into the tray hole
Remove the SIM tray
Place the SIM card into the tray with the metal contacts facing the correct direction
Align the SIM card with the tray shape
Slide the tray back into the device
Turn the device back on
Check that the SIM is recognized
