How To Read 1 ML Syringe?

Check the syringe size: 1 mL syringe

Find the numbered major markings on the barrel

Read the number at the top edge of the plunger rubber closest to the needle

Each small line usually equals 0.01 mL or 0.02 mL, depending on the syringe type

Each larger line usually equals 0.1 mL

The full syringe equals 1.0 mL

Align your reading at eye level

Read from the syringe’s measurement line, not from the plunger tip

Confirm the unit is mL, not units or cc

If unsure, check the syringe packaging or manufacturer markings
