Check the WhatsApp chat notification preview on the iPhone Lock Screen or Notification Center
Restore WhatsApp from an iCloud backup made before the message was deleted
Ask the sender to resend the message
Check any Apple Watch notifications if WhatsApp alerts were mirrored there
Review any email or other app notifications if WhatsApp messages were forwarded there manually
Use a third-party notification logging app only if it was installed and configured before the message was deleted
