How to Read Tab Music Guitar?

Read the tab from left to right

Each horizontal line represents a guitar string

The top line is the high E string

The bottom line is the low E string

Numbers show which fret to press

A 0 means play the open string

Stacked numbers mean play the notes at the same time

Numbers spaced apart mean play the notes in order

Lines or letters above or below the tab show rhythm or technique

Symbols can indicate bends, slides, hammer-ons, pull-offs, and vibrato

Count the timing using the rhythm markings if included

Match the tab with the song’s tempo and beat
