Check the Photos app’s Recently Deleted folder
Open Photos → Recently Deleted → select photos → Recover
If you use iCloud Photos, check iCloud.com Photos → Recently Deleted → Recover
If you use Google Photos, open Google Photos → Trash/Bin → select photos → Restore
If you use OneDrive/Dropbox, check their Photos/Camera Uploads → Recycle Bin/Deleted items → Restore
Check the device’s local backup options (iTunes/Finder or device backups) for the last backup before deletion
Restore from an iPhone/iPad backup (if available) using Finder/iTunes and then re-check Photos
Restore from an Android backup (if available) using your backup service and then re-check Gallery/Photos
If photos were on an SD card or external drive, stop using the card immediately
Try recovery software on a computer (read-only imaging preferred) and scan for deleted photos
If you used cloud sync, sign in to the same account on another device and check its Recently Deleted/Trash
Contact professional data recovery services if the photos are critical and recovery software fails
Avoid overwriting the storage until recovery is attempted
