Check whether the messages are still visible in the chat before they disappear
Open Snapchat and look for the conversation in Chat
Ask the other person to resend the messages or screenshots
Use Snapchat’s My Data download to request your account data
Go to Snapchat Settings and select My Data
Submit the data request and download the archive when it is ready
Review the downloaded files for chat history or account records
Check your phone’s notification history if message previews were enabled
Look in any device backups that may contain Snapchat data
Restore from a recent iCloud backup on iPhone if available

Check whether Memories contains saved snaps or chats
Review saved messages in the conversation if either user saved them
Contact Snapchat Support if you believe the deletion was accidental
Avoid third-party recovery tools that claim to restore deleted Snapchat messages
Enable chat saving in future conversations to prevent loss
