Insert the USB drive into your Mac
Open Disk Utility
Select the USB drive from the sidebar
Click Erase
Enter a name for the drive
Choose a format
Choose a scheme if available
Click Erase
Wait for the process to complete
Click Done
Eject the USB drive safely
