How To Remove A Header In Word?

Double-click the header area at the top of the page

Select the header content

Press Backspace or Delete

Click Close Header and Footer

Or go to Insert

Select Header

Choose Remove Header

If the header appears only on some pages, check Different First Page or Different Odd & Even Pages

If needed, unlink the section from previous sections before removing the header
