Use a laminator with a reverse or jam-release function
Cut the laminated item into smaller sections if needed
Peel apart the plastic layers at an edge with a fingernail or thin blade
Apply gentle heat with a hair dryer to soften the adhesive
Use a warm iron over a cloth to loosen the laminate
Soak the item in warm water if the paper can tolerate moisture
Use acetone or adhesive remover on a small test area
Scrape off remaining plastic with a plastic scraper
Clean residue with rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover
Let the surface dry completely before reuse
