Soak a cotton ball or pad with acetone or nail polish remover
Place it on the nail for 10 to 20 seconds
Wipe the nail color off
Repeat with a fresh cotton pad if needed
Wash your hands with soap and water
Apply hand cream or cuticle oil after removal
Use non-acetone remover for gentler removal
For glitter polish, hold the soaked cotton on the nail longer
For gel polish, file the top coat lightly before using remover
Avoid peeling or scraping the polish off
