Open the Google Home app or Nest app and check the device settings if you want to remove it from your account
If wired, turn off power to the doorbell at the breaker
Remove the doorbell cover if your model has one
Loosen the mounting screws holding the Nest Doorbell to the bracket
Gently pull the doorbell away from the wall or door frame
Disconnect the wires if it is a wired model
Cap the exposed wires with wire nuts if needed
Remove the mounting bracket screws from the wall
Remove any anchors if you want to fully take the bracket off
If battery-powered, detach it from the mount or charging cable
Reset the device if you plan to sell, give away, or rehome it
Reinstall any original doorbell hardware if needed
