Place a clean towel or paper towel under the stained area
Apply rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, or alcohol-based sanitizer directly to the ink stain
Blot the stain with a clean cloth until the ink lifts
Replace the towel underneath as it absorbs ink
Rinse the area with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent or stain remover to the spot
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Wash the clothing again in the warmest water safe for the fabric
Check the stain before drying
Repeat the treatment if needed
Avoid using the dryer until the stain is completely gone
For delicate fabrics, use a small amount of vinegar or a fabric-safe stain remover
For dried ink on white cotton, try a paste of baking soda and water
For stubborn stains, use a commercial ink remover according to the label
Test any treatment on a hidden area first
