Open the app you used for searching
Go to History, Recent, or Activity
Tap Clear history, Delete, or Remove all
Choose the time range if prompted
Confirm the deletion
For browser history, open your browser
Tap the menu icon
Select History
Tap Clear browsing data
Select Browsing history
Tap Clear data or Delete
For Google search history, open Google app or My Activity
Tap Delete activity by
Choose the time range
Confirm deletion
For Safari on iPhone, open Settings
Tap Safari
Tap Clear History and Website Data
Confirm the action
For Chrome on Android or iPhone, open Chrome
Tap the menu icon
Tap History
Tap Clear browsing data
Select History
Confirm deletion
Check other apps and search bars separately
Delete saved searches from app settings if available
Sign out of accounts if you want to stop syncing history
