Turn off the TV and unplug all cables
Have a second person help if the TV is large or heavy
Remove any cable ties, clips, or covers blocking access
Locate the mounting brackets or locking screws on the TV mount
Loosen or remove the safety screws or locking tabs
Lift the TV upward slightly to disengage it from the wall plate
Pull the bottom of the TV away from the wall carefully
Remove the TV from the mount and place it on a soft, flat surface
If needed, remove the wall mount bracket from the TV
Keep all screws and hardware together for later use
