Blot the stain with a clean white cloth or paper towel
Place a towel under the fabric
Dab the stain with rubbing alcohol using a clean cloth
Blot until the marker lifts
Rinse the area with cold water
Apply liquid laundry detergent to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together or use a soft brush
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Wash the fabric according to the care label
Air-dry the fabric and check that the stain is gone before using heat
Repeat the process if needed
