Let the filler cure fully
Sand the repaired area smooth
Apply primer to the repaired section
Let the primer dry
Apply matching wheel paint in thin coats
Let each coat dry before applying the next
Apply clear coat if the wheel finish requires it
Let the clear coat cure fully
Wet sand and polish the area if needed for a smooth finish
Reinstall the wheel if it was removed
