Disconnect the wiring from the old fan
Disconnect the duct from the fan housing
Remove the old fan from the ceiling
Compare the new fan to the old one for size and duct location
Install any necessary mounting brackets or support
Connect the duct to the new fan housing
Connect the wiring to the new fan
Secure the new fan housing to the ceiling framing
Install the fan motor and grille
Restore power at the breaker
Test the fan operation and airflow
Check for unusual noise, vibration, or loose connections
