How to Replace Golf Club Grips?

Gather new grips, grip tape, solvent, vise, rubber shaft clamp, utility knife, and a tray or bucket

Secure the club in a vise using a rubber shaft clamp

Remove the old grip by cutting it off carefully

Peel off the old grip tape from the shaft

Clean any leftover adhesive from the shaft

Measure and cut new grip tape to the correct length

Apply the new grip tape to the shaft

Cover the tape with grip solvent

Pour solvent inside the new grip and shake to coat the interior

Quickly slide the new grip onto the shaft

Align the grip logo or pattern as desired

Let the grip dry completely before use

Repeat for each club needing a new grip
