Save your work and close all applications
Restart the computer
On Windows, press Win + Ctrl + Shift + B
In Device Manager, expand Display adapters
Right-click the GPU and select Disable device
Wait a few seconds
Right-click the GPU again and select Enable device
Uninstall the GPU device in Device Manager
Check Delete the driver software for this device if available
Restart the computer
Reinstall the latest GPU driver from the manufacturer’s website
On a desktop, power off the PC and unplug it
Reseat the GPU in the PCIe slot
Reconnect power cables to the GPU
Boot the system again
In BIOS or UEFI, load default settings if needed
Use the GPU vendor control panel to restore default settings
If using Linux, restart the display manager or reboot the system
If the GPU is unresponsive, perform a full power cycle
Turn off the system
Disconnect power
Hold the power button for 10 to 15 seconds
Reconnect power and start the system
