Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine
Make sure the odometer is showing the total mileage, not trip A or trip B
Turn the ignition off
Press and hold the trip reset button
Turn the ignition to ON while continuing to hold the button
Keep holding until the maintenance light starts flashing and then turns off
Release the button
Turn the ignition off
Start the engine to confirm the light is reset
