Open your phone’s Phone app
Tap the Voicemail tab or icon
Look for Voicemail Settings or Change Password
Enter your current voicemail password if prompted
Enter a new voicemail password
Confirm the new voicemail password
Save the changes
If you forgot your voicemail password, contact your mobile carrier
Use your carrier’s app or website to reset the voicemail password
Call your carrier’s customer support and request a voicemail password reset
Follow the verification steps from your carrier
Set a new voicemail password when prompted
If you use iPhone, go to Settings
Tap Phone
Tap Change Voicemail Password if available
Enter the new password and confirm it
If you use Android, open the Phone app
Tap the menu or voicemail settings
Select Voicemail settings or Voicemail password
Change or reset the password from there
Restart your phone after changing the password if needed
Test the new voicemail password by calling your voicemail box
