Back up any important data, screenshots, or app progress if possible
Charge the headset to at least 50%
Put on the headset
Press the Oculus button on the right controller to open the universal menu
Select Settings
Select System
Select Reset Options
Select Factory Reset
Confirm the reset
To reset using the Meta Quest mobile app:
Open the Meta Quest app
Select Menu
Select Devices
Select your Quest 2
Select Headset Settings
Select Advanced Settings
Select Factory Reset
Confirm the reset
To reset from the headset buttons:
Turn off the headset
Hold the Power button and Volume Down button at the same time
Release when the boot menu appears
Use the volume buttons to highlight Factory Reset
Press the Power button to select
Highlight Yes
Press the Power button to confirm
