Back up any saved data, screenshots, and clips you want to keep
Sign out of your PlayStation Network account if possible
Turn off the PS5 completely
Press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep
Connect the DualSense controller with a USB cable
Press the PS button on the controller
Select your language if prompted
Choose Reset PS5 or Reset PS5 Console from the Safe Mode menu
Select the reset option you want
Confirm the reset
Wait for the PS5 to restart and complete the process
