Locate the router’s reset button
Keep the router powered on
Press and hold the reset button with a pin or paperclip
Hold it for 10 to 30 seconds
Release the button when the lights blink or the router restarts
Wait for the router to reboot completely
Reconnect to the router using the default Wi-Fi name and password
Log in to the router admin page
Reconfigure your internet settings, Wi-Fi name, and password
Restore a backup if you have one
