Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine
Make sure the odometer or trip display is showing
Press the trip reset button until the display shows Trip A or the odometer
Turn the ignition off
Press and hold the trip reset button
While holding the button, turn the ignition to ON
Keep holding until the maintenance light starts blinking and then turns off
Release the button
Turn the ignition off and then start the vehicle to confirm the light is reset
