Plug in the TP-Link wireless extender and wait until it is powered on
Locate the Reset button or pinhole on the extender
Press and hold the Reset button for about 5 to 10 seconds
Release the button when the LEDs start blinking or the extender restarts
Wait for the extender to reboot and restore factory settings
Reconfigure the extender using the TP-Link Tether app or web setup page
If the reset does not work, unplug the extender, plug it back in, and try again
