Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner
Select Restart
Click Restart again if prompted
Wait for the Mac to shut down and start back up
Press Control + Command + Power button
Press Control + Command + Eject if your Mac has an Eject key
Wait for the Mac to restart
Press and hold the Power button until the Mac turns off
Wait a few seconds
Press the Power button again to turn it back on
