Back up important files if possible
Plug in the charger
Turn off the laptop
Turn on the laptop and repeatedly press F12
Select SupportAssist OS Recovery if available
Choose Reset or Restore
Follow the on-screen prompts
If SupportAssist is not available, restart and press F8 or F11 if supported
Select Repair Your Computer or Recovery options
Choose System Restore to restore to an earlier point
Choose Reset this PC or Factory Image Restore if available
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the restore
If needed, use a Dell recovery USB or recovery media
Insert the recovery media
Restart the laptop and press F12
Select the USB device
Follow the recovery instructions
Reinstall drivers and updates after restoration
