Back up your files with Time Machine or another backup method
Sign out of iCloud
Sign out of Messages
Sign out of Music, TV, and Books if needed
Unpair Bluetooth devices if desired
Restart your Mac
On Apple silicon Mac or Intel Mac with T2 chip, press and hold the power button until startup options appear
Select Options
Click Continue
If prompted, enter your administrator password
Open Disk Utility
Select your startup disk
Click Erase
Choose APFS if prompted
Confirm the erase
Quit Disk Utility
Select Reinstall macOS
Follow the on-screen instructions
Keep the Mac connected to power and the internet during installation
Complete setup or shut down if you are preparing the Mac for a new owner
Open Finder
Go to the Applications folder
Locate the app you want to delete
Open the Messages app on your Mac
Click Messages in the menu bar
Select Settings or Preferences
Press Control + Command + Q
Click the Apple menu and choose Lock Screen
Use the Touch Bar or Touch ID lock option if available
Check if Contacts are turned on in iCloud
Open Settings
Tap your Apple ID name
Use Migration Assistant
Connect both Macs to power
Connect both Macs to the same Wi-Fi network or use a Thunderbolt, USB-C, or Ethernet cable
Open Canva and sign in
Search for “Vision Board” in the template search bar
Choose a vision board template or start with a blank design
