Remove the zipper stop or top stopper if needed
Slide the zipper pull onto both sides of the zipper tape at the same time
Align the teeth evenly before inserting them into the pull
Gently wiggle the pull while feeding both sides in
Pull the slider upward a small amount to catch the teeth
Check that both sides are engaged and moving together
Reinstall the top stopper or secure the end if it was removed
Test the zipper several times
If the pull is damaged or the teeth are bent, replace the zipper pull or zipper
