Open the file manager or storage app
Navigate to the folder where the file is saved
Use the search bar to find the file by name
Check recent files or downloads if needed
Connect the storage device if the file is on an external drive
Open the file once it appears in the list
Restore it from the recycle bin or trash if it was deleted
Use backup or cloud storage to recover it if available
