Inspect and clean nearby storage boxes, shelves, and corners
Throw away heavily infested or damaged items
Store clean clothes in airtight containers or sealed garment bags
Use cedar, lavender, or moth traps to monitor and reduce adults
Seal cracks, gaps, and openings where moths can enter or hide
Keep storage areas dry, clean, and well-ventilated
Rotate and inspect stored textiles regularly
Repeat cleaning and monitoring until no signs remain
