Preheat the oven to 400°F
Peel away the loose outer skin from a garlic head
Slice off the top of the garlic head to expose the cloves
Place the garlic head on a piece of foil
Drizzle with olive oil
Wrap the garlic tightly in the foil
Place on a baking sheet
Roast for 35 to 45 minutes
Remove when the cloves are soft and golden brown
Let cool slightly
Squeeze the roasted cloves out of the skins
