Open the Instagram app
Find the video you want to save
Tap the three dots on the post
Check if the post has a Save option
Tap Save to add it to your Instagram saved items
If you want it in your phone gallery, use a screen recorder
Play the video in full screen
Start the screen recording on your phone
Stop recording when the video ends
Open your phone’s Gallery or Photos app
Find the recorded video
Trim the video if needed
If the video is your own post, open it in Instagram
Tap the three dots
Select Save to Camera Roll if available
If available, use Instagram’s download option for your own content
Check your device permissions for Photos or Storage if saving does not work
