Press PrtScn to copy the full screen to the clipboard
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows key + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot automatically
Press Windows key + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool and select part of the screen
Open Paint or another image editor and paste with Ctrl + V if the screenshot is on the clipboard
On some laptops, press Fn + PrtScn or Fn + Windows key + PrtScn
Use the Snipping Tool app from the Start menu to capture a custom area, window, or full screen
Use third-party screenshot tools if your keyboard does not have a PrtScn key
