Open the conversation with the person
Look for a read receipt or status under your message
Check for “Read,” “Seen,” or a timestamp
Make sure RCS chat features are enabled
Confirm that the other person has read receipts turned on
Check if both phones support the same messaging features
Use a messaging app that supports read receipts
Verify you are not sending as SMS only
Check the message details if available
Look for delivery status if read status is not shown
