Open Instagram and go to your profile
Tap the menu icon in the top right
Select Your activity
Tap Account history or Access your information if available
Go to Connections
Tap Current follow requests or View sent requests if shown
If that option is not available, Instagram may not show sent follow requests directly in the app
Use Instagram on a browser and check your following requests through account data download
Request your data from Settings and privacy
Download the file and look for follow requests or connections-related information
Check the profile of the person you requested; if it still says Requested, the request is still pending
Cancel the request by tapping Requested and then Cancel request if needed
