Open WhatsApp on your iPhone
Open the chat where you want to send the GIF
Tap the plus icon or the camera icon next to the message box
Tap Photo & Video Library
Select the GIF from your Photos app
Tap the GIF option if it appears
Tap Send
To search for a GIF in WhatsApp, open the chat
Tap the plus icon or camera icon
Tap Photo & Video Library
Tap the GIF tab if available
Choose a GIF
Tap Send
To send a GIF from another app, open the GIF
Tap the Share icon
Select WhatsApp
Choose the chat
Tap Send
To save a GIF before sending, save it to your Photos app
Open WhatsApp
Open the chat
Attach the GIF from Photo & Video Library
Tap Send
