Open the Messages app
Open the conversation
Tap the plus button or App Store icon next to the text field
Tap Audio or Voice Message if available
Record your voice message
Tap Send
Open the Voice Memos app
Select the recording
Tap the share icon
Choose Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or another app
Select the recipient
Tap Send
In WhatsApp, open the chat
Tap and hold the microphone icon
Record your voice message
Release to send
In Mail, create a new email
Tap the attachment icon
Choose the voice recording file
Add the recipient
Tap Send
