Turn on the thermostat
Press the System button
Select Heat, Cool, Off, or Auto
Press the Fan button if needed
Set the desired temperature using the up and down arrows
Wait for the thermostat to save the setting
Check that the system starts or stops as expected
Adjust the schedule if your model has programmable settings
Press Menu or Schedule to change time periods and temperatures
Save changes before exiting
Replace the batteries if the display is blank or unresponsive
