Wear gloves
Remove the trap from the package
Pull back the kill bar until it locks
Set the bait pedal with a small amount of bait
Place the trap on a flat surface with the bait end against a wall
Position the trap where mouse activity is seen
Keep fingers clear of the kill bar
Check the trap regularly
Dispose of the mouse and reset or replace the trap as needed
