Set the current code to the default or existing combination
Press and hold the reset button or move the reset lever as required
Turn the dials to your desired new combination
Release the reset button or return the lever to its original position
Scramble the dials to confirm the new code is set
Test the lock by entering the new combination and opening it
Record the new combination in a secure place
