How To Set Up A Local Cobblemon Server?

Install Java 17 or newer

Install Minecraft Java Edition

Download the correct Fabric installer for your Minecraft version

Run the Fabric installer and create a server profile

Download the Cobblemon mod files for the same Minecraft version

Download Fabric API if required by the Cobblemon version

Open the server folder created by the Fabric installer

Place the Cobblemon mod jar files into the `mods` folder

Place any required dependency mod jars into the `mods` folder

Accept the Minecraft EULA by editing `eula.txt` and setting `eula=true`

Edit `server.properties` if you want to change server settings

Start the server using the Fabric server launch file or command

Wait for the server to finish generating files and chunks

Confirm the server is running without errors

Launch Minecraft with the same Fabric version and matching mods

Add `localhost` as the multiplayer server address

Join the server from the same computer

Use your computer’s local IP address for other devices on the same network

Open the server port on your firewall if needed

Keep the server and client mod versions exactly matched

Back up the world folder regularly
