Use a standard 52-card deck
Remove jokers
Shuffle the deck thoroughly
Deal 7 tableau piles from left to right
Place 1 card in the first pile
Place 2 cards in the second pile
Place 3 cards in the third pile
Place 4 cards in the fourth pile
Place 5 cards in the fifth pile
Place 6 cards in the sixth pile
Place 7 cards in the seventh pile
Turn only the top card face up in each tableau pile
Leave the remaining cards face down
Place the undealt cards face down as the stock pile
Leave space for four foundation piles
Keep the tableau, stock, waste, and foundation areas separate
