Open the main menu
Select System
Open Character Configuration
Go to the Hotbar Settings tab
Choose the Custom section
Enable or disable hotbar options as needed
Open the Keybind settings from the System menu
Select the category you want to customize
Click the action or function you want to change
Press the new key or button you want to assign
Save the changes
Open the Mouse and Camera settings if needed
Adjust camera and cursor controls
Open the Gamepad settings if using a controller
Customize button mappings and analog stick behavior
Set up cross hotbars if using a controller
Test the controls in a safe area
Return to the settings and refine any bindings that feel awkward
