Turn on your gaming controller
Put the controller in pairing mode
Open System Settings on your Mac
Click Bluetooth
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on
Select your controller from the device list
Click Connect
Open the game you want to play
Check the game’s controller settings
Map buttons if needed
Test the controller in-game
Update macOS if the controller is not detected
Update the controller firmware if available
Disconnect and reconnect the controller if pairing fails
Use a USB cable if Bluetooth does not work
Restart your Mac if the controller still does not connect
