Open the Settings app
Tap General
Tap VPN & Device Management
Tap VPN
Tap Add VPN Configuration
Choose the VPN type
Enter the VPN details provided by your VPN service or network administrator
Enter the server address
Enter the remote ID if required
Enter your username and password if required
Save the configuration
Turn on the VPN switch
Confirm the VPN connection status
Open your VPN app if your provider requires an app-based setup
Sign in to the VPN app
Allow VPN permissions when prompted
Connect to the VPN from the app
Verify the VPN icon appears in the status bar
Disconnect the VPN by turning off the VPN switch or using the app
