Gather fabric, thread, needle or sewing machine, scissors, pins, chalk or fabric marker, and a circular template
Draw or trace the circle on the fabric
Cut out the circle
Pin the fabric if sewing two layers together
Place right sides together if applicable
Sew slowly along the marked circle
Keep the seam allowance even
Pivot or adjust the fabric as you sew around the curve
Backstitch at the start and end
Trim excess seam allowance if needed
Clip notches into the seam allowance on tight curves
Turn the circle right side out if required
Press the seam flat
Topstitch if needed
