Use a lip liner sharpener made for cosmetic pencils
Check whether the lip liner is wooden, plastic, or twist-up
Insert the pencil gently into the sharpener
Turn the pencil slowly while keeping light pressure
Stop sharpening when the tip is even and pointed
Wipe off any shavings from the pencil
Clean the sharpener blade regularly
Chill a soft lip liner for a few minutes before sharpening
Use a clean tissue to remove excess product from the tip
Replace the sharpener if the blade becomes dull
Do not over-sharpen to avoid breakage
Do not sharpen twist-up lip liners unless the brand allows it
