Clear your mind and focus on your question or intention
Hold the tarot deck in both hands
Cut the deck into two or more piles
Recombine the piles in a new order
Overhand shuffle by moving small groups of cards from one hand to the other
Riffle shuffle gently if the cards are sturdy enough
Mix the cards until they feel sufficiently randomized
Stop when the deck feels ready
Square the deck so the edges are even
Draw your cards from the top or as your spread requires
